Students from Thessaloniki visit ITHS

Fifty students and teachers from the First Lyceum Ampelokipon in Thessaloniki came to visit the Information Technology High School. They wished to visit our school because they were impressed by the way it looks, the way we work and our modern approach to education.

International students have visited us before and each time they come is a great opportunity for our students to make new friends and for us to promote our school.

The most modern school in the Balkans

Kamporis Hristos, the principal of the Greek school that came to visit us has said that he is more than impressed with our school and its modern and innovative teaching methods, assuring us that we are the only school in the Balkans that operates in this way. “ I don’t even think Greece has a school like this.”

ITHS’s principal, Dragan Živković addressed our guests wishing them a lovely stay and thanking them for coming. “We are honoured by your visit and by the fact that you have recognised our school’s modern and innovative approach to education. Our students receive Tesla tablets which they use instead of notebooks and teaching is conducted with the help of interactive white boards.”

The dean of ITS, Bojan Ristić spoke to our guests about ITS’s enrolment criteria and the perspective of Serbian education.

Modern education at ITHS

The students and teachers from Thessaloniki were taken on a tour of ITHS’s, ITS’s and Comtrade’s classrooms and facilities. In two classrooms they were shown two presentations on the use of IT in education, primarily through Tesla tablets and interactive whiteboards.
