Website of Information Technology High School ITHS, founded by LINK group, received the award for best Serbian site in 2012 in Science and Education category

Once again, editors of PC Press magazine selected fifty best websites of Serbian Internet, which was not an easy task since the competition grows every year. Selection was made for the 16th time; websites were divided into ten categories.

This is how PC Press explained the decision:

If you are wondering what education of the future looks like, website of ITHS (Information Technology High School) will show you almost everything that lies ahead. Contemporary lecture concept, subject matter also available for distance learning through integration with (associated) ITS and LINK eLearning sites, constant insight into unfolding of teaching and grading processes and continual communication with teachers and school representatives - these are things education in general is striving for, while ITHS already has them. Also, this involves sought-after professions which will make it relatively easy for you to find a job – you can already apply for class of 2013/2014.

The results of the annual selection of best Serbian sites have been presented on Wednesday, January the 30th at 3 PM, in Belgrade City Hall’s reception room; among the guests, besides school principal Dragan Živković, were ITHS students, too.

Speaking to Tanjug, Dragan Živković, ITHS principal, stated that this award constitutes an exceptionally important honor for the school, since, through a lot of work and constant effort to give its students the best, it has, in the short time since its founding, managed to develop highly useful elements on the site, which generally speaks for the quality of the entirety of the school’s activity.

“The distance learning platform is especially important; it probably landed us the nomination for this award”, said Živković, and proceeded to mention the ongoing project mala-matura.com - online preparation courses in Serbian language and mathematics, which will allow all prospective elementary school graduates free access and preparations for the final exam. He also announced other free courses from different fields, which will soon become available on the school’s website.

This very important award made us all the more delighted because it is yet another confirmation that all work and effort pay off and that quality never goes unnoticed, if it really is quality.
Our aspiration that our school’s website should achieve such a high level was inspired by our desire to give all we can and know to our students and their parents, and even more. Success serves as additional motivation for building, together with our students, a new, better, more successful future.
