Free education for Red Star Telekom first-teamers
Three first-team players of Crvena Zvezda Telekom (Red Star Telekom) received free education programs at ITAcademy and BusinessAcademy. LINK group and Crvena Zvezda Telekom Basketball Club continue their successful cooperation. During the last season, Boris Savović was the scholar of this unique education system; this season, we wanted to expand our cooperation, so as many as three Zvezda’s players – Marko Simonović, Branko Lazić and Luka Mitrović – received scholarships.
“Our mission and our job do not comprise only teaching and education of our programs’ students, but also the striving to help our students to become more successful in all respects, to build new or advance the existing careers. We have developed a unique study method, that helps in gaining and advancing knowledge several times more quickly and efficiently than is otherwise required. Our company’s quality is also confirmed by partnerships and certifications of the world’s leading companies and institutions such as Cambridge, Microsoft, Apple, Adobe, Zend and others,” said Nikola Subotić, LINK group’s executive manager, and added:
“It is a great honor to have captain Marko Simonović, Branko Lazić and Luka Mitrović as our students, since, even as successful athletes, they want to progress and advance themselves still more. We wanted to show that there can be a career after a career, too, if we start investing in our education on time. We were inspired by the way Crvena Zvezda Basketball Club cares about its players, so we decided to give our basketball players free education programs at ITAcademy and BusinessAcademy. We hope that in this way we will inspire other professional athletes to realize some dreams or talents of theirs which they did not know they had or had no opportunity to develop. We know that sportsmen have little time, with intensive training and frequent games; that is why their learning will be simpler and faster, since it takes place online, so they can study from home, after training, wherever they are and whenever they have time for it.”
In Crvena Zvezda, they say that there is a lot of investing in players’ education and advancement, and successful cooperation between our company and red-and-white first-teamers confirms this.
“I am thrilled by the possibility of expanding my education. I am currently preoccupied with basketball, but I also need to think about what I am going to do and what is my profession going to be when my career as a player is over. This is why I am very thankful to my club, Crvena Zvezda, as well as LINK group, because they gave me the opportunity to acquire, through this program, knowledge in human resource management, which I am quite interested in. Distance learning is a great benefit that BusinessAcademy provides; it is very important to me since I am often away due to professional commitments. I will try to use the opportunity that was given to me in the best possible way,” said Crvena Zvezda Telekom’s shooting guard Branko Lazić.
To our new students, we wish a lot of success in professional career and further advancement alike!
