If you ask us, the best school year ever has begun! We are proud to be able to say that our secondary schools, Savremena International School and ITHS, have enrolled a record number of students this year, and that another adventure has begun for all of us.

 

 

The best school year at Savremena International School has started for over 100 enrolled students, who take large daily steps on the path of new knowledge with their forward-thinking teachers. Their first day at school was a day earlier, on August 31st, when they started to get to know one another better through various interesting games and applications.

 

The first encounter between the students and their future mentors was quite interesting, because the teachers tried to express their professions in riddles, while the students’ task was to guess who teaches what.

 

For instance, teacher Đorđe Trišović said that with his help, they would be able to discuss fashion with Heidi Klum, sports with Bastian Schweinsteiger, and politics with Angela Merkel. The students easily guessed that he is the German language teacher.

 

 

Like every year, there was an official reception for the first-year students at the Information Technology High School – ITHS; this time, for 2015/2016, there were as many as 102 of them. At the reception, they learned what interesting things are in store for them.

 

The reception started with speeches by the school’s principal Dragan Živković and the director of our higher education institution Information Technology School - ITS Bojan Ristić, who emphasized that the students had chosen the right school. New student Nemanja Musurović said that he was pleased with his choice of high school and mentioned big plans for the future – he wants to start his own business and be a company owner.

 

 

Both of our schools are regional leaders in secondary education - not only because of the modern approach to teaching and the dedicated personnel, but also because of the implementation of technology in their classrooms.

 

All our students use tablet and laptop computers in class, because education must follow all technological innovations in order to provide the easiest, best possible learning. The teachers explain the material using interactive whiteboards, and they are available to students 24 hours a day to resolve any questions they might have.
