ITS organized official reception for the eighth generation of freshmen; on October 10, reception was attended by those who chose to study in the fields of Electronic Business and Information Technology, and today, on the 11th, for those who opted for Business System Organization – IT and Computer Multimedia.
Official reception for the new generation of our students was held at the school’s premises, i.e., in the ComTrade company’s technology center.

At the reception ceremony, new students were introduced to curriculum of the ITS’s departments, with future teachers, members of management of the school and companies LINK group and ComTrade, as well as with details that can be important to them at the start of their studies.

Among those who wished freshmen a lot of success and advancement in their studies was Veselin Jevrosimović, president of the ComTrade company::

“Prospects of education and employment in the IT sector are increasingly expanding and growing. A great number of our graduates, 81 percent, already work, while 11 percent continued their education at master studies. Young people increasingly recognize the IT sector as a field of the future, which is also witnessed by the fact that this year we have twice as much students enrolled compared to last year”, said Jevrosimović.

Progress and success of the new ITS freshmen were also in the words of Miloš Đurković, general manager of HP’s Serbia office.. After a short overview of history and development of HP, Mr. Đurković addressed the students with a commendation that that they have chosen the right profession, explaining his claim by numerous possibilities that open to them as ITS students.

Future students were also addressed by Andreja Jauković, Intel’s business development director for the Balkan region.. After talking about IT environment in Serbia, Mr. Jauković introduced students to numerous possibilities the area they have chosen will give them in life and offered advice for successful career.

Through their presence and speeches, exceptionally successful, fulfilled professionals from the IT world showed the new students that they will be constant support and help to them in learning, practice and advancement, just like they have been for those who are already studying or have graduated from ITS.

Since these young people have made one of the most important decisions of their lives and showed the ambition to study a very profitable, but also complex and serious discipline, it is our duty to, like every year, invest all the necessary effort to help them in their work, in order to make their stay at school the best and most pleasant it can be. Yesterday and today constitute the beginning of that investment.

Once again, we wish them a lot of knowledge, success and progress in new academic year 2013/14..
